How do I submit an article to Vox.LACEA?

Submissions should be sent to (vox@lacea.org) and must have the author(s)’ name, affiliation, and email address. The Editorial Board will decide which submissions are accepted and will notify the author(s) by email.

VoxLACEA encourages professional economists to submit commentary on the following topics:

All contributions must:

  • Be policy relevant and research-based.
  • Consist of original work.
  • Have a maximum length of 2000 words, including a short title.
  • Limit the use of figures and tables.
  • Include references that illustrate the research basis of the analysis, commentary and opinions expressed.
  • Be written at an analytical level that is higher than a typical newspaper column but more accessible than a journal article.

By submitting an article to VoxLACEA, you affirm that the work is original and that it is not concurrently submitted to another publication; that it does not infringe any copyright, proprietary right or any statutory right; and you agree to indemnify and hold VoxLACEA harmless against any claim to the contrary.

By submitting an article for publication, contributors also understand that the work may appear on other websites or in printed publications as part of content sharing or other agreements.

  • By using VoxLACEA you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use of VoxLACEA. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the following terms please do not access and/or use VoxLACEA.
  • Unless otherwise stated, the copyright for all contributions are held by VoxLACEA VoxLACEA may change these terms at any time by posting changes online. Please review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by VoxLACEA Your continued use of VoxLACEA after changes are posted means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended.
  • VoxLACEA wants to encourage dissemination but wishes to track usage of its content and to be sure VoxLACEA retain control so as to avoid abuses.
  • VoxLACEA restricts the right to copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use VoxLACEA content. Specifically:
